So you want to start blogging but unsure of the process.  Read the article and watch the video for an overview of creating the first blog which will be on Blogger, WordPress.com and a hosted WordPress platform for comparison. Finally, we are ready to setup our first blog. We have defined who we want to be known as on the Internet which is QueenGeek for me. We have defined our niche, which for demo purposes, will be very generic.

For demonstrative purposes, we will start the first blog using Google’s Blogger platform primarily because it is the easiest to setup. However, we will cover WordPress.com and a hosted WordPress blog so a comparison can be drawn. It is not necessary to setup all three types but it maybe more helpful to do so. We will add photos, videos, documents and a host of options that are best understood by first-hand experience.
